About Me
blakeley, the snapshot edition
I am an avid adventurer taking a step into a dream life I never thought I could live until now! I was your average 9-5er with a job in a corporate company who worked more than 40 hours a week, spent time with friends on the weekend when I wasn't fixing up my house, constantly saving money for travel any chance that I could get away, and then my job eliminated my position. Instead of jumping right into a new job, I decided to pause and decide what I wanted to do with my life. The answer? Travel.

Mere weeks after being let go from my job, I sold my house and took a road trip with my 85lb pup and a rented pop-up camper in tow, and experienced life. I realized that, like many of us, I was working to simply afford to exist, while not being able to afford to truly live life. It was when I hiked the Angel's Landing trail in Zion (chains & all), that it hit me: this is the life I should be living.

The answer: buy a cargo van, build it out into a home with the help of my dad (plumbing & electric wiz), and start living. Follow along on my journey as a share my experiences as a van-lifer, adventurer, and life enthusiast.
